FARMINGTON – Church Street is ready to re-open to traffic today but motorists are reminded that it will now be a one-way street.

Signs have been posted to direct drivers one-way only from Main Street across to High Street, Town Manager Richard Davis said Monday.

A crew will return in the spring, Davis added, to complete final paving and striping of parking spaces. A donation of 14 trees will also have to wait till spring.

The road has been closed to traffic since the end of September for renovations with granite curbings and cement sidewalks.
