HEBRON – A 21-year-old Portland man was arraigned Monday on charges stemming from an altercation with his father over the weekend in Hebron.
Ryan P. Fogg of 1375 Forest Ave. was charged with criminal mischief and violating bail conditions and freed on personal recognizance bail after appearing in Rumford District Court, officials said.
Oxford County Deputy Shane Thomas responded to a complaint of a fight between Fogg and his father, James, at the elder’s home on Ramsdell Road early Saturday morning. The 911 call came from the father’s girlfriend.
Thomas said he was accompanied by Paris officer Raymond Parr and Cpl. Brian Landis of the Sheriff’s Office, and that Fogg was cooperative when he was taken into custody.
Damage to the house included two broken sliding glass doors.
Thomas said James Fogg had superficial injuries and declined treatment, and Ryan Fogg sustained “pretty significant injuries” and was “extremely intoxicated.”
“The incident is still under investigation,” Thomas said.
Fogg was ordered to avoid contact with his father and his father’s girlfriend, to not use alcohol or illegal drugs, and abide by prior bail conditions out of Cumberland County Superior Court in Portland.
