AUBURN – A surprise party was held recently for Randy and Polly Demers of Auburn, on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary. The couple was picked up at their restaurant by a limousine and were brought to Espo’s Restaurant, which was arranged by their children, Scott Demers, Dawn Demers and Jon Demers.

Their children presented them with a collage of their life together and a collage of grandson, A.J., made by good friend Randy Baril and a DVD camcorder. They were also presented with many gifts from their guests. Also featured was an anniversary cake with their wedding picture on it. Toastmaster was Scott Demers.

Mr. Demers and the former Polly Beaudoin were married Sept. 18, 1982, in Danville. In addition to their three children, they have a grandson, A.J. Blake Ciriello.

The couple owns Blake’s Grill Restaurant in Lisbon Falls. They are members of Sacred Heart Church in Auburn.

Original wedding attendants present were Rick Demers, best man, and Sue Montminy, maid of honor.

The couple is planning an anniversary trip on a Caribbean cruise in February.
