RUMFORD – Police here have made the following arrests; they will be arraigned on Jan. 8 in Rumford District Court:
• Aimee Lemay, 29, Rumford, disorderly conduct, 1:35 a.m. Nov. 22 on Knox Street. She was released on $200 unsecured bail.
• Disa Fowler, 28, Dixfield, disorderly conduct and obstructing government administration, 10:35 p.m. Nov. 21 on Knox Street. She was released on $300 unsecured bail.
Accidents
• Nov. 21, 8:06 a.m. – Siobhan St. Laurent, 24, of Rumford, lost control of a 2000 Chevy Malibu on Route 2 at what’s known locally as Half-Mile Turn due to icy road conditions. The car left the road and rolled over. St. Laurent suffered minor injuries. Damage to the totaled Chevy was estimated at $6,000.
• Nov. 20, 10:10 a.m. – Sarah Vine, 22, of Mexico, lost control of her east-bound 1997 Jeep Wrangler on icy conditions on Route 2 at the bottom of Falls Hill and struck a west-bound 1997 Kenworth tractor-trailer operated by Michael Lizotte, 40, of Berlin, N.H. There were no injuries. Damage to the Jeep was estimated at $2,000; to the rig, $4,000.
