KENTS HILL – Dakota Bowie chalked up two hat tricks over the weekend, leading Maranacook Area Youth Bantam Hockey to a 7-3 victory over Kennebec and a 4-3 triumph over Central Maine.

Bowie also notched an assist in Saturday’s convincing victory at Kennebec Ice Arena. Ian Palmer produced a pair of goals and an assist. Tom Pietroski registered one goal and one helper, and Eric Crawley also lit the lamp. Dan Welch added an assist to the onslaught in support of winning goalie River Mullan.

Kieffer Cantera scored twice for Kennebec, while Brittany Osher added a goal and an assist. Brandon Benson and Matt Landry each set up a goal. Blake Cote was the goalie.

Tom Pietroski supplemented Bowie with a goal in Sunday’s tight game at Alfond Center. Tony McIver and Ian Palmer picked up an assist apiece. Shaun Veilleux scored twice to lead Central Maine, with Max Poulin tallying the other goal. Lance Lefebvre added an assist for the team representing Skowhegan, Oakland, Waterville and Winslow.

Mullan delivered another win in goal for Marana cook (6-1). His counterpart was Cam Tibbetts.
