GREENFIELD, Mass. (AP) – Two Clinton men charged with setting a fire that destroyed a vacant paper mill in Erving will remain held without bail.

A judge in Greenfield Superior Court has ruled that John Rousseau and Michael Dreslinski, both 28, pose a dangerous threat.

The two were indicted by a grand jury in October and were already being held without bail.

Both have pleaded not guilty.

Firefighters from 20 communities and three states battled the July 30th fire at a vacant warehouse that was part of the Usher Paper Mill.

Rousseau and Dreslinski are also charged with setting a fire at a Boston & Maine Railroad facility in the Berkshire County town of Florida.

The suspects were arrested in late August following an investigation that involved police tracking the men via a global positioning system installed in Dreslinski’s truck under an unrelated court order.
