SCARBOROUGH – The wedding of Tricia Penley and Richard Dunton was held at 1 p.m. Sept. 1 at St. Maximilian Kobe Church in Scarborough. The Rev. Thomas Murphy officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Dunton is the daughter of Bill and Patty Penley of Scarborough. Mr. Dunton is the son of Bill Dunton of Rumford Point and Mary Dunton of Arizona.
Tricia Freeman, life-long friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Bartash, sister of the bridegroom, and Courtney Bridges and Jacinda Ojeda, friends of the bride.
Christopher Walker, college friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were John Bartash III, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Brian Penley and Kevin Penley, brothers of the bride.
A reception followed at Val Halla Golf and Recreation Center in Cumberland. After a honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is residing in Livermore Falls.
The bride is a graduate of Scarborough High School, the University of Maine and the University of New Hampshire dietetic internship program. She is a nutrition counselor with the WIC program in Auburn.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Mountain Valley High School and the University of Maine. He is a civil engineer with Main-Land Development Consultants in Livermore Falls.
