LEWISTON – Multiplatinum country music recording star Trace Adkins, who has remained a chartbuster for more than 11 years, will take the stage at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee Jan. 25 as part of the 2008 Trace Adkins American Man Tour.
Tickets, $39.75 plus applicable fees, go on sale at 10 a.m. today at the Colisee ticket office on Birch Street; online at thecolisee.com; or by calling 877-468-4946. All seats reserved.
Opening for Adkins will be Luke Bryan, who was named one of Billboard’s new faces to watch in 2007 (the only country music performer selected for the honor).
One of country music’s top headlining performers, Adkins has sold millions of records, won dozens of industry awards and in 2003, became a member of the prestigious Grand Ole Opry.
His recognizable baritone has been cutting through the airwaves and energizing concert hall speakers for more than a decade. Now, with the release of “American Man, Greatest Hits, Volume II” he collects the songs that have turned him into a country star.
Bryan made his Grand Ole Opry debut in August and released his debut album, “All My Friends Say,” which landed at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Music Albums chart.
