I offer my appreciation to Josh Tardy of Newport, the minority leader of the Maine House of Representatives. He is one of the few in the House who are trying to stop illegal aliens from getting drivers licenses in Maine.

Maine’s secretary of state had the nerve to dismiss Tardy’s criticisms.

It is amazing to me how these people keep getting re-elected.

I guess the fact that some of the terrorists who attacked this country on 9/11 came through the Portland Jetport is of no concern to the majority in the House. Maine – the great sanctuary state of the nation.

Illegals should not be allowed to get a Maine driver’s license, period. My representatives in Augusta will be hearing from me on that matter.
