FARMINGTON – Police are following several leads on a bank robbery suspect but had made no arrests as of Friday afternoon, Detective Marc Bowering said.

A man approached a teller at TD Banknorth at Broadway and Main Street on Wednesday afternoon and gave her a note that indicated he had a gun and to give him money.

The man is described as being about 5-foot-10, with a husky build and wearing a dark brown jacket with a hood. He fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, Police Chief Richard Caton III said Wednesday.

Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputy David Rackliffe and his dog, Odin, tracked the suspect to a rear municipal parking lot before the scent was lost.
