WILTON – The wedding of Sonna (Sween) Hayduk and Randy Allen was held at 4 p.m. June 23 on the shore of Wilson Lake in Wilton. The Rev. Betsy Simpson officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Allen is the daughter of Connie Jack and Ron York of Powell, Wyo., and Bob and Debbie Sween of Punta Gorda, Fla. Mr. Allen is the son of Staunton and Edna Allen of Wilton.

The bride was given in marriage by their daughters, Jackie Hayduk and Marissa Allen.

Maureen Husing, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Julie McDonald, friend, Jackie Hayduk, daughter of the bride, and Marissa Allen, daughter of the bridegroom.

Marc Cravinho, friend, served as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Allen, brother of the bridegroom, and Kenway Cote, friend.

A reception followed at the Boiler Room Restaurant in Wilton, after which the couple traveled to Bermuda. They are residing in Glen Cove, N.Y.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and a master’s degree in secondary education from Hofstra University. She is science department head at Portledge School in Locust Valley, N.Y.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Mt. Blue High School in Farmington and is a union surveyor for Garden State Engineering, Surveying and Planning in New Jersey.
