VILLANOVA, PA. – The wedding of Erika Kay Schalcher and Eamon Andrew O’Brien Gallagher was held at 5 p.m. July 14 at Appleford Estate in Villanova, Pa. Linda Noonan officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Gallagher is the daughter of Bruce and Susan Schalcher of Havertown, Pa. Mr. Gallagher is the son of Brion Gallagher and Maureen O’Brien of Auburn.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless taffeta gown and carried a bouquet of pale pink and orange roses.
Allison Geller, best friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Devon Torchiana and Abbie Torchiana, cousins of the bride. Abigail Voli, family friend, was flower girl.
Liam Gallagher served as best man for his brother. Ushers were Matt Mullen, cousin of the bridegroom, Matt Lopes, friend of the bridegroom, Nik Davis, cousin of the bride, and Sam Mullen, cousin of the bridegroom. Drew Voli, family friend, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Appleford Estate, after which the couple traveled to Quebec, Canada.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Haverford Senior High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor’s degree in history. She is currently a graduate student at Villanova University.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and applied sociology. He is executive vice president at Kelly and Thomas Associates.
