Hymn sing

TURNER – The North Turner Presbyterian Church will hold a Christmas Eve hymn sing and celebration at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24. There will be special music for the Christmas service, which is geared for all ages.

Everyone is invited to attend fellowship after the service to visit with friends and neighbors and have Christmas cookies and hot cider. The church is located on Route 219 in North Turner village.

GOP sets caucus

LIVERMORE – Livermore Falls and Livermore Republicans met Dec. 10, and it was voted to hold the caucus on Saturday, Feb. 2, with the Lewiston/Auburn group. Each town will be required to have their own town clerk present for registration purposes at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 2.

Livermore/Livermore Falls members will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at the home of Leila Keene to discuss delegates and other issues concerning the caucus on Feb. 2.

No Jan. 1 visit

FARMINGTON – Due to the holiday, the veterans’ advocate will not be at the Municipal Building on Tuesday, Jan. 1. His next visit to Farmington will be Tuesday, Jan. 8, at the usual time of 9 a.m. to noon.
