CARRABASSETT VALLEY – Snowboarding Olympic gold medalist Seth Wescott will host “Seth’s Show: My Ten Best Rides,” a fundraiser for the Carrabassett Valley Public Library/Community Center capital campaign.

“I am looking forward to the chance to get to tell some of the behind-the-scenes stories of my Alaskan adventures as well as my two greatest competitive conquests,” Wescott said.

There will also be a special appearance by Baxter the Library Cat, the official mascot of the Maine State Library.

The event will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, at the Antigravity Complex at the base of Sugarloaf off Route 27.
