AUBURN – School officials are hoping to fill a slot on a master plan committee in early January.

The group of three residents will help review the plan during January and February and make their recommendations to the School Committee and the City Council in March.

Applicants must be available for eight consecutive Thursday nights, beginning Jan. 10. The group will meet at 8:30 p.m. in Auburn.

To be considered, write a letter of interest and mail it to Superintendent Tom Morrill, Auburn School Department, 60 Court St. Auburn, ME 04210.

You may also e-mail your letter of intent to [email protected] or [email protected]. Applicants should include their name, address, telephone numbers and explain the reasons they want to serve on the committee.

School officials will notify committee members by Jan. 3.
