Why is this country wasting money on space travel when so many people are in need of food, shelter and clothing right here on Earth? With the high prices of everything, many people are getting to the point where they cannot afford basic necessities of life.
I believe a ceiling on prices should be in place so that people would not have to be relying on charities or the government to support them (which means higher taxes for everyone).
With more senior citizens on Social Security, the country cannot support every needy person or charity. There just isn’t enough money coming in.
Any pay raises are eaten up by increases in costs for medications and other necessary items. People end up just as poor as before, so how can they help needy relatives?
Something should be done, now, before the whole nation ends up homeless and needy.
