AUBURN – A Hebron woman remained in critical condition Wednesday, two days after a sport utility vehicle slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer on Center Street.
Central Maine Medical Center listed Cristel Bosse, 24, in critical condition from injuries she suffered in the 8:20 p.m. Jan. 1 crash.
Meanwhile, the driver of the rig is unknown.
Police said there are signs that he stopped and examined the vehicle but pulled away before emergency vehicles arrived.
The 2001 Dodge SUV was driven by Kerri A. Champagne, 22, of Auburn. Police estimated the damage to the vehicle at $10,000.
