PARIS – The Oxford Hills School District music department will hold auditions for the 18th biennial school-community Broadway show “Swing!” Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 7-8, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

This new and upbeat show celebrates diversity to the beat of some of the most exhilarating songs of the swing era. The cast includes two male and two female lead singers as well as an ensemble of dancers and singers.

Open auditions will begin each day at 6:30 p.m. in the high school music room with call-backs on Thursday, Jan. 10. A selection from the musical can be picked up in the district music office at OHCHS during school hours. Participants may also choose to bring a piece of music that demonstrates their ability. Please bring a copy of the music for the music director.

Dancers will be given choreography to demonstrate their abilities and will also be asked to improvise.

Performance dates are March 27-30.
