COLCHESTER, Vt. (AP) -A 20-year-old Milton man is due in court on today to answer charges connected stemming from an armed robbery and two attempted robberies in Colchester.

Images from a surveillance camera helped police identify John Hawley, who was arrested Saturday when he went to the Colchester Police Department to talk about what he thought was an unrelated matter.

Colchester police say Hawley told them he had a drug problem.

The two attempted robberies and one successful robbery were reported to Colchester police late Friday afternoon.
