No one would leave a gun outside where it could be stolen and possibly used in a robbery. Well, how about a vehicle?

How many vehicles are stolen and end up in a chase, pursued by the police? There are many, and a lot of those stolen vehicles end up in an accident. In most cases, people are hurt or killed.

I feel that if the stolen vehicle was left unlocked, with the keys in it, that the owner should be held responsible to some extent, and in some cases they are held liable.

People should give law enforcement officials a break by taking their keys out of their vehicles and locking them, when parked at home or anywhere else.

It seems to be mostly young people, out for a joyride (that so often turns out deadly), who steal most vehicles. What a shame.

To those who don’t lock their vehicles – your car could be the next one stolen.
