A crew from O.B. Hill Trucking and Rigging of Boston starts to lift a 12,000-pound MRI machine off a flatbed in the lengthy process of installing it into St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston on Tuesday morning. The Siemens Avanto imaging system is the most advanced in the state, offering better quality images and a more comfortable experience for patients, hospital officials said. They predict it will be operational during the first week of February.
