Bounding down the hallway with infinite energy comes Bella-Rose, my family’s new Boston Terrier puppy. This little dog is not happy unless she has your undivided attention! Sometimes all she wants to do is play tug-of-war with her sock monkey, but other times, she’ll lay right next to me and fall asleep. Puppies are so fun to have around, whether they are attacking one of their toys or snuggling up. Having a puppy is an experience that comes with joy, as well as responsibility.
Nothing can brighten a day like seeing a little ball of sunshine come running toward you. Bella is also a lot of work, when it comes to feeding her and keeping her occupied while doing homework. My cat, Cherio, who is usually loving, always stares her down with hatred, only to be met with a few licks on the face. They have gotten used to each other now, and they are so cute together. Overall, Bella has brought so much cheerfulness to my family, it’s worth the work. You can’t buy happiness. But you can buy a puppy.
