AUBURN – The Androscoggin County Republicans will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, in the Community Room at Auburn Hall.

The business portion of the meeting will include distributing caucus kits to the towns in Androscoggin County and a review of the procedure on how to run a caucus.

Androscoggin County will hold its presidential caucus on Saturday, Feb. 2. It is important to all Republicans who wish to cast votes for presidential candidates. The caucus will be their only opportunity because the June primary will not include the presidential candidates on the ballot.

Other business will include the Lincoln Day dinner/auction on Feb. 22 and an update on the Maine Republican Convention in May. All county Republicans are welcome to attend, and town chairs are advised to pick up their caucus material. Refreshments will be served.
