BANGOR (AP) – Candidates for the University of Southern Maine presidency will visit campus this month to meet with students, faculty, staff and the public.
The University of Maine System released the schedules for the campus visits of the four finalists for the position.
Bob Smith from the University of Arkansas will visit Jan. 22-24, and Selma Botman from the City University of New York System will be on campus from Jan. 23-25.
David Belcher from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock is scheduled for Jan. 27-29, and Nancy Kleniewski of Bridgewater State College will visit Jan. 28-30.
A new president is being sought to replace Richard Pattenaude, who stepped down last year to become chancellor of the seven-campus University of Maine System.
Pattenaude hopes to have a new president in place by July 1.
