ORONO – Bryan Ewing had a goal and an assist, and Pete MacArthur contributed three assists as Boston University posted a 3-1 win over Maine Saturday night at Alfond Arena.

Kevin Shattenkirk’s third goal of the year snapped a 1-1 tie in the middle period. Colin Wilson tacked on a third-period insurance goal. Brett Bennett made 15 saves for the Terriers (6-10-3).

Keif Orsini scored the lone goal for the Black Bears (7-10-2). Ben Bishop stopped 27 shots.
