FARMINGTON – A Chesterville woman was arrested Friday on a charge of trafficking in prison contraband after a corrections officer discovered pills and tobacco products in the Franklin County Detention Center.
Jennifer A. Carley, 24, was charged with bringing Suboxone pills and tobacco to the jail while visiting an inmate, said, Lt. Niles Yeaton of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.
Suboxone pills are used to treat addictions to opiates including heroin.
Carley made bail with $5,000 unsecured provided for a court appearance on March 24.
