Dear Sun Spots: I have a Yamaha Electone Organ that I would like to donate to a nursing home, group home, or any organization that is not able to buy one.

This organ has various controls that produce or enhance organ sounds. Some control instrumental voices, such as flute and clarinet, while others control effects, like vibrato and reverb.

This offer also includes organ course books, and more. For more information please phone 782-1123 or 514-2244 – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: The person who wanted to know how he or she could find an old newspaper photograph might try checking a library. Some store newspapers on microfilm, especially college libraries. The person could search the old papers and possible be able to photocopy from the photo (if the microfilm machine is equipped with a photocopier). I hope this helps. – A Sun Spots reader in Farmington.

Answer:
The reader seeking the photographs should note that a copy of a microfiche copy will not be very clear. However, you might be able to lighten it to provide you with a copy that might be suitable for your needs.

Dear Sun Spots: Could you please print the name and phone number of the woman in Auburn who is selling Traction Aids, again? I did cut it out and gave it to my husband. I asked him to get me some for Christmas. Well, he lost the number, and I didn’t get any. I should have called myself. I’m sorry I didn’t. I will now. – Jean of Auburn.

Answer: Contact Connie Mercier, 25 Fourth St., Auburn, ME 04210, 784-1481 or via e-mail at [email protected]. for more information about these.

Dear Sun Spots: Like many others who are loyal readers, I would like to add my own words of appreciation for all that you accomplish to help people.

I have a Smith Corona electric typewriter to give away. It has memory, like a word processor, and shows each line as you are typing. I have the owner’s manual and some extra tapes and eraser tapes.

I am hoping it might be of use to a nonprofit or some other group. Although I live in Rumford, I can arrange to drop it off elsewhere. You may reach me at 364-7479 and leave a message. – C. Gallant, No Town.
