LEWISTON – The search continued Tuesday for a suspect who robbed a Lisbon Street convenience store the night before.

Police said a lone male walked into the E-Z Mart at about 10:40 p.m. and demanded cash from a worker there. No weapon was displayed and the suspect fled as soon as he was handed an undisclosed amount of money.

Police searched the area around the 1104 Lisbon St. store with tracking dogs but by late Tuesday afternoon, no suspect had been found.

Investigators said the suspect entered the store covered head-to-toe in winter clothing. Police were interviewing possible witnesses on Tuesday as the investigation continued. Anyone with information is asked to call the Lewiston Police Department at 513-3139.
