AUBURN – Edward Little High School has announced the dates for its upcoming Pack the Gym nights. The boys’ night will be Friday, Feb. 1 against Morse, with the girls taking the spotlight Tuesday, Feb. 5 against Leavitt. The varsity game each evening is slated for a 7 p.m. tap.

Pack the Gym has been an annual celebration at EL for more than a decade. The school offers discounted admission prices and numerous prize giveaways in an effort to jam the gymnasium at the Heights, one so spacious that it hosted the Western Maine tournament in yesteryear.

Wal-Mart, the ELHS Action Team and the ELHS Grandstand Club have sponsored the event.

Among the activities include the Red Eddie Shootout, where a lucky fan will have the opportunity to win more than $200 with a half court shot. Wal-Mart also has provided at least 10 door prizes, and 25 spectators will win free hot dogs courtesy of Mike O’Hara and Portland Toyota.
