What has happened in this country in the last eight years that is positive? Motorists are paying a ridiculous price at the gas pump, all the while the oil companies make record profits, year after year.
How many American men and women in the armed services have been killed in the senseless occupation in Iraq?
The scandals in Washington by elected politicians; the destruction of the World Trade Center in New York killed thousands and the person responsible for it is still alive; the disaster in New Orleans and how it was handled; illegal activities by high-ranking administration officials; people who did not agree with President Bush, gone; and so much more, including what is now going on with the stock market, is the result of the last eight years of incompetence in the current administration.
This nation has not seen the worst yet.
I have heard some people say that President Bush will go down in history as the best president ever. If so, what has he done that is positive?
I believe the first President Bush was a good president and should have been re-elected to a second term. The current President Bush has been a complete disaster from the start, and should never have been elected president for another four years. He should have done the proper thing, as did President Lyndon Johnson, and not run again.
