BIDDEFORD (AP) – Biddeford’s police chief says he’s organizing a dive team to resume a search for the body of a man whose vehicle plunged into the Saco River nine days ago.

State police used an underwater camera Wednesday to look for Robby Harrison’s body near a dam downriver from Route 1, but couldn’t find it.

The 39-year-old Harrison, who was from Biddeford, disappeared after his Chevy Blazer ran a stop sign and flipped over a guardrail into the river early Jan. 20. Rescuers recovered the body of Harrison’s girlfriend from the vehicle.

State police called off the search, but Beaupre says efforts to find Harrison are not complete in his view.
