David Roux, senior guard, St. Dom’s

Roux gave the Saints’ playoff prospects a big boost with a buzzer-beater last Saturday that lifted them to a 42-41 win over North Yarmouth Academy. The point guard finished that game with 10 points, including a pair of three-pointers.

Sam Leclerc was money in the bank when he knotched his 1,00th career point against Monmouth this week. To mark the occasion, Leclerc’s mother, Brenda, had faux $1,000 bills made up with Sam’s smiling picture. Kids from the YMCA team Sam coaches were in the stands and helped count down the points from 10 with numbered posters.
