CANTON – A 50th wedding anniversary open house in honor of Eugene and Barbara Groleau was held Dec. 8 at the Canton Municipal Building in Canton.

The party was hosted by their daughters, Cheryl McLean and Terry Bedard, as well as several other family members.

There were approximately 80 people in attendance at the event. Family and friends came from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and several points in Maine.

They received cards from people who couldn’t attend. Original wedding attendants present were Bob and Shirley Dolloff.

The couple resides in Canton and Largo, Fla.
