WhiIe I am no engineer, it occurrs to me that making rotaries as part of Auburn’s Center Street would be like putting wings on a rowboat. Not likely to fly, and quite possibly dangerous.

On a different subject, am I the only reader who wonders why the Auburn and Lewiston school departments are not deeply in discussions about merging? That wouldn’t have to include the merger of the high schools, but might save much in administration, supplies and shared staff.
