The Rams have turned everything around from the early season, though it does help to get everyone back and healthy. The Rams are one of three squads with a great chance to come out of Western Class A.

3. Falmouth

The Yachtsmen may move to No. 2 today, depending on what happens in Brewer. Falmouth has had, along with St. Dom’s, one of the toughest schedules this season, and has handled it well.

Near-perfect? Yes. Tough schedule? Not even close. Even one of the Blue Devils’ signature wins was dampened this week when Lawrence beat Brewer.

5. Brewer

OK, so they lost to Lawrence this week. I still think that’s a fluke, and Fitzpatrick is still red hot.

6. Thornton

I’d like to see how the Trojans fare against St. Dom’s, but for now, their record tells the story.

7. Waterville

The Purple Panthers have discovered the formula for winning: Score goals. Their five losses have all been shutouts.

8. St. Dom’s

Still an up-and-down team, but the Saints have played much better of late. Tonight’s contest with Lewiston will tell just how far the Saints have come.

9. Portland

What a difference Zach Meoli makes. With the goalie back in place, the Bulldogs are back on track with one of the most dangerous top lines in Class A.

10. Brunswick

The Dragons have a chance to pick up some points this week, but a big loss to Biddeford has to hurt the psyche.
