PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – The wedding of Lindsey Adams and Patrick Hopkins was held Oct. 7 aboard the Isles of Shoals steamship the MV Thomas Laighton. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Elizabeth Roberts.

The bride is the daughter of Vernon and Nancy Adams of Jay. The bridegroom is the son of Scott and Cindy Hopkins of Waterboro.

Kerrianne Falco and Tim Hooper, friends of the couple, served as maid of honor and best man.

A reception followed aboard the ship as it cruised around Portsmouth Harbor. The couple honeymooned in Florida in January.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Jay High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Maine. She is a teacher at Sylvan Learning Center in Bangor, while pursuing a master’s degree in communication science and disorders at the University of Maine.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Massabesic High School in Waterboro, a 2002 graduate of Southern Maine Community College and a 2006 graduate of the University of Maine. He is employed at Hewes and Co.

The couple is residing in Hampton, N.H.
