OES program

MECHANIC FALLS – Dwinal Chapter 28, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the Masonic Hall, 474 South Main St. Members will celebrate Valentine’s Day and Hearts.

Members are also collecting items for the worthy grand matron’s “Love Bags” project. The bags will be put together after the meeting and will be given to abused women shelters across the state. The meeting will be preceded by a 6:30 p.m. supper. All members of the order are invited.

Grange to meet

AUBURN – Members of Danville Junction Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at the hall. The program will be presented by the Agricultural Committee. Dessert will be served at the close of the meeting. All members and guests are welcome.

Game time

TURNER – Game time will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Turner Library. School-age children may bring a favorite board game. For more information, call Jennifer Talbot at 225-3349.
