JAY – The Jay Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Jay Community Building. The program will feature a speaker from the University of Maine at Farmington Archeology Department.

FARMINGTON – Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District is looking for donations for the annual auction set for Saturday, March 29, at Mt. Blue Middle School.
The annual live auction includes such items as legal services, eye care, ski passes, savings bonds, hand-crafted items, furniture and professional artwork.
Jeff and Adrian Harris have once again been asked to serve as auctioneers. Viewing will begin at 5 p.m.

DAR sing-along
FARMINGTON – Pianist Patricia Hayden will entertain and accompany the Colonial Daughters Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, in a sing-along at 1 p.m.Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Pierce House.
Desserts will be served for members and residents of the Pierce House. The meeting is open to the public. Anyone interested in learning more about the Daughters of the American Revolution is invited.
