FARMINGTON – The public is invited to an open house from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 16, celebrating the opening of the newly relocated Sweatt-Winter Early Care and Education Center at two new sites on the University of Maine at Farmington campus.

The full-time child care program for preschool children, ages 3 to 5, will be located on the first floor of the UMF Ricker Addition, 240 Main St., and the school-age program will be held at 112 Maguire St. Dawn Brod, director of Sweatt-Winter, and the staff will welcome open house visitors at both locations.

The Sweatt-Winter Child Care Program is full-time and open year round from 7 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

The UMF Nursery School Program is open during the school year from 8:30 to 11 a.m.

The Sweatt-Winter School Age Program before and after school care and full-time summer care for children from kindergarten through the summer following second grade is open between 7 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.

The UMF Infant-Toddler Program classes are scheduled during the school year.
