LEWISTON – U.S. Sen. Susan Collins will be the guest speaker at the Androscoggin County Republicans’ annual Lincoln Day Dinner/Auction on Friday, Feb. 22, at the Ramada Inn.

Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner, speaker Collins, introduction of candidates, awards and the auction. Reservations may be made by contacting Rosemarie Butler at 782-6373 before Feb. 19. Admission is $35.

Collins, a Maine Republican, has served in the U.S. Senate since 1996. She is a ranking member and former chairwoman of the Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee, which has jurisdiction over the Department of Homeland Security and is chief of the Senate’s Oversight Committee. She also serves on the Armed Services Committee and is a member of the Special Committee on Aging.
