ALTON, N.H. (AP) – Police are investigating the apparent shooting deaths of two people in a home in Alton (New Hampshire).

Details are sketchy, but authorities said police found a man and a woman dead in the home on Youngtown Road around 7 a.m. after a young girl called to report a shooting.

The caller was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The attorney general’s office said no one has been arrested, but that police do not believe that there is any danger to the community.

Investigators are trying to piece together what happened.
