MINOT – Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Getchell of Minot are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Marie Getchell, to Michael Charles O’Connor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brad O’Connor of Minot.

Miss Getchell is a graduate of Poland Regional High School and attended the University of Maine at Farmington and Central Maine Community College.

Mr. O’Connor is also a graduate of Poland Regional High School and Southern Maine Community College in 2004 with a degree in building construction. He is currently employed at L and D Builders in Turner.

An August wedding is planned.
