AUBURN – The wedding of Susan Jipson and Howard R. McNally III was held at 5 p.m., Oct. 5, at Lost Valley in Auburn. Judith Akers officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. McNally is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace A. Jipson Jr. of Oxford. Mr. McNally is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard R. McNally Jr. of New Gloucester.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless white lace gown with beading and apple-color ribbon tied at the waist. A matching veil featured apple ribbon trim and embroidered flowers. She also wore elbow-length gloves with matching beading on the edge and carried a bouquet of red roses, wine and yellow Calla lilies, orange lilies and red eucalyptus.
A sister of the bridegroom, Lisa Levesque, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Barker, cousin of the bride, Wendy Desrosiers, sister of the bride, Kelley Ross, sister of the bridegroom, and Tamica McNally, niece of the bridegroom. Alyssa Jade McNally, daughter of the couple, was flower girl.
A brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Daniel Levesque, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Timothy and Christopher Jipson, brothers of the bride, Brian Ross, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Jonathan McNally, son of the bridegroom. Jaydan Gabe Levesque, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Lost Valley, after which the couple traveled to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Gray-New Gloucester High School and is employed as assistant branch manager at Maine Family Federal Credit Union.
The bridegroom is foreman at High Tech Fire Protection.
