n Word of the week: “arctophile.” It’s the technical term for a collector of teddy bears, from the Greek for “bear.” It’s related to “arctic.” Arctic” comes from the Greek for “northern,” which literally means “of the Bear,” a reference to the most prominent northern constellation, Ursa Major, aka the Great Bear.
