PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – Sen. Hillary Clinton will attend a rally at Rhode Island College on Sunday afternoon as she campaigns for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Her campaign released details late Thursday of this weekend’s visit to the Ocean State.

The campaign says she’ll attend at least one additional public event besides the rally, though details haven’t been released.

Meanwhile, her husband, former President Bill Clinton, is scheduled to visit Rhode Island next Thursday.

Rhode Island holds its primary election on March 4 and rarely gets much attention during the presidential race. But with Clinton and Illinois Senator Barack Obama in a close contest for the Democratic nomination, every delegate counts.

Obama’s wife, Michelle, was here Wednesday.
