FARMINGTON – A Farmington man fell asleep while driving home from work Friday morning, causing his car to roll over after hitting high snowbanks on Wilton Road in West Farmington, police said.

Michael Mason, 45, of Farmington was alone when his car struck the banking across from Motor Supply and rolled, Farmington police Officer Bridgette Gilbert said.

He received minor injuries, she said, but was not transported to the hospital.

His 1993 Saturn was totaled, she said. No other vehicles were involved.
