ROCKLAND (AP) – A 32-year-old Rockland man has died after being found unconscious inside a camping trailer in which a portable propane heater was being used.
Police said Jason Larner was found around 5:30 a.m. Friday and died at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport.
The cause of death was not determined, but Deputy Chief Wally Tower of the Rockland Police Department said a propane heater could lead to carbon monoxide poisoning.
Larner’s 23-year-old wife, Shannon Larner, also was transported to the hospital, where an official said she was treated and released.
