AUBURN – The wedding of Amy Boisvert and Christopher Bowie Jr. was held at 6 p.m., Nov. 10, at Lost Valley Ski Resort. Jeannine Tardif, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Bowie is the daughter of Kathy Lacasse of Auburn and the late Dan Boisvert, and the stepdaughter of Dan Lacasse of Auburn. Mr. Bowie is the son of Christopher Bowie Sr. and Pauline Bowie of New Gloucester.

The bride, given in marriage by her stepfather, wore a strapless white gown with purple trim, and she carried a bouquet of a variety of purple and white flowers with silver ferns.

Kathy Lacasse was matron of honor for her daughter. Christopher Bowie Sr. was best man for his son.

A reception followed at Lost Valley Ski Resort, after which the couple traveled to Hawaii. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 1998 graduate of Casco Bay College. She is employed at Central Maine Neurology and Pain Center.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Calvary Christian Academy and is serving with the U.S. Army in Iraq.
