FARMINGTON – The North Atlantic Conference announced the seedings for the men’s basketball tournament Sunday. The UMF men (11-14, 7-6) finished as the third seed in the NAC East and will travel to Elms College (19-6, 11-2) for a quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Elms is the No. 1 seed from the NAC West.

During the regular season, the Blazers defeated Farmington on Jan. 25 in Dearborn Gymnasium.

The UMF women (12-12, 9-5) finished as the third seed in the NAC East and are slated to travel to Becker College (15-10, 9-6) for a quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Becker is the No. 2 seed from the NAC West.

During the regular season, Farmington defeated Becker 55-33 on Jan. 26 in Dearborn Gymnasium.

Quarterfinal games will be played at the higher seed on Tuesday. Quarterfinal winners will advance to the semifinals held at the higher seed for semifinal contests on Friday at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Teams are re-seeded entering the semifinal round based on similar seeding criteria. Semifinal winners will meet Saturday 2 p.m. for the NAC title. The NAC Champion receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Championship.
