Lodge visitation

AUBURN – Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will have its annual visitation from a Rebekah Assembly officer on Monday, March 3. Judy Clark of Skowhegan, warden of the Rebekah Assembly, will be the special guest.

There will be a potluck supper at 6 p.m. in the recreation room of the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Home, 85 Caron Lane, followed by the meeting at 7. It is a dress-up affair, with the women officers wearing colored gowns or long skirts.

The newly elected vice grand, Pamela Black, will be installed into office.

Lucy Cowles and Esther Tucker will present a tableau depicting the Rebekah Assembly president’s program. A collection will be taken for the president’s chosen charity, the Maine Eye Bank.

A program under the direction of Diane Treacy, noble grand, and her left supporter, Margaret Sjostrom, will conclude the events.

Artists invited

LISBON FALLS – Art in the Park is attracting local artists who will display their talents in the Gazebo Park area all day Saturday during the Moxie Festival next summer.

More than a dozen artists have responded to the initial invitation.

Along with the Maine Art Glass Studio on Main Street, which will be open all three days of the festival, the Art in the Park exhibits will offer works for sale by many of Lisbon’s artists.

There is still time to reserve a table in the park at no charge for this first year, but space is limited. Space to showcase artworks in the gazebo area is available only to residents of the town of Lisbon and anyone with work displayed at the Maine Art Glass Studio gallery.

To reserve a space in Gazebo Park on a first-come, first-served basis, call Faye Brown at 353-5771 or e-mail [email protected] for more information.
